ARCHBOLD VILLAGE COUNCIL: Annexation Agreement Approved

The Archbold Village Council held their meeting on Monday, April 18th at 5:30 p.m. The meeting was called to order followed by the Pledge of Allegiance.

Council first moved to approve the list of bills and payroll in the amount of $839,939.79 before also approving the March 2022 financial reports.

Council then moved to approve the following Ordinance and Resolution. Resolution 2022-29 authorizing an annexation agreement with German Township Trustees and declaring an emergency.

Resolution 2022-30 providing for a statement of services which will be provided by the Village of Archbold to real estate for which a petition will be filed for annexation to the Village of Archbold and declaring and emergency.

Ordinance 2022-31 adjusting certain water, wastewater and stormwater fees and declaring an emergency. Council then discussed the Planning Commission meeting that took place on April 11th followed by the following reports.


An Economic Development Update given by Jim Wyse, the Police Department Calls for March 2022 and the Street Department Labor/Fleet reports for March 2022.

The Community Reinvestment Area Certificate was then discussed before council moved to adjourn for the evening.
