(February 7th, 2015) – FAYETTE: With Fayette playing host to the Buckeye Boys Conference Junior High Championship Tournament this year, North Central’s and Pettisville’s Eighth Graders did battle on the varsity gym floor of the purple and yellow team.
Despite North Central being a solid team, they were just no match for the Blackbirds. There was just no way they could keep up with Pettisville’s frenetic scoring pace. Pettisville took the game 72-14.
The Blackbirds were led in scoring by Moyer. The Pettisville Eighth Grader had 18 points on the afternoon. Teammate Yoder was close behind with 16 points. Cogswell led the Eagle scoring effort with 5 points.
