(February 10th, 2015) – EDON: Playing host to Green Meadows Conference opponent Fairview, Edon had its hands full all night long.

The Lady Bombers lost the contest 55-38.

It was a tough first period that did in the Bomber girls. Edon was outscored 21-8 to start the game, a difficult hole from out of which to climb. The task proved to be an impossible one for the hometown girls, as their best efforts, such as scoring 14 points to the Lady Apaches’ 15 in the second quarter, weren’t going to be enough to close the initial 13 point gap.

In the third stanza, Edon found themselves falling further behind thanks to a 12-6 effort on the part of Fairview. Edon was finally able to make up chip away at the Apache lead just a bit in the fourth and final period, claiming it with a 10-7 margin. Still, they lost the contest by 17 points.

Edon senior Alex Kiess provided most of the points for the Lady Bombers, putting up 24 of them in the losing effort. Kaitlin Sonneberger added another 7 points to the Edon cause, while Hannah Kaylor earned 4 points in the game.
