Better late than never, Chief Livengood received a special Christmas gift from his officers.
To honor the Chief on his 15 years of Honorable Military Service in the US Army, Chief Livengood was given a Medal Box displaying the many ribbons and awards he received during his service including, but not limited to: Military Police (crisscrossed pistols), Army Commendation medal with second award attachment, Army Achievement Medal, Army Good Conduct medal with second award attachment, National Defense medal, Army Service ribbon, Army Overseas Service ribbon, and Army Non-Commissioned Officer Professional Development ribbon.
It is with great pride and true appreciation of his service to his country that we congratulate Chief Livengood on his accomplishments. The Village of Pioneer is fortunate to have a proven and committed leader at the helm of it’s police department. Congrats again, Chief

The gift from my officers was a very pleasant surprise to have received from them. It was completely unexpected and I am very grateful for this. I don’t usually make a big deal about my time in service, but I am proud to have had the opportunity to serve this great country. I am grateful to be surrounded by great officers in my department and those that I am able to serve beside within this county. If it were not for the great officers that I have on staff, and those that I work with on a daily basis I would be just another Chief. They are what makes me successful in this ever changing business. I am blessed to serve in this community and in Williams County.
