BRYAN BOARD OF EDUCATION: Bid Related To Athletic Fields Improvement Project Rejected

THE VILLAGE REPORTER

The Bryan City Board of Education met Monday, June 12, 2023 at 6 p.m. After the call to order and the pledge of allegiance, the Board accepted the minutes of the May 15, 2023 meeting as presented.

Then accepted was the treasurer’s report, which included May’s monthly financial statements, fiscal year 2023’s amended permanent appropriations, permanent appropriations for fiscal year 2024, and a SORSA agreement for fiscal year 2024.

Then a resolution was carried officially rejecting a bid received for a contract related to the Athletic Fields Improvement Project.

Then transferred was $153,529.31 from the Permanent Improvement Fund to the Classroom Facilities Fund.


The irls tennis was approved for an overnight trip that is to be August 11-13, and all superintendent recommendations were accepted as presented.

The next Bryan City Board of Education meeting will be held Monday, July 17 at 6 p.m. in the Elementary Commons.
