Williams County Grand Jury Hands Down 16 Indictments

The Williams County Court of Common Pleas Grand Jury was in session on Tuesday, July 18, 2023, and returned the following 16 indictments:

-KASSANI K. HARDIMAN, 19, Homeless, Ohio Revised Code §2909.05(B)(1)(b), Vandalism, a felony of the fifth degree, 5 Counts.

-ALLEN S. WILLIAMS, 45, Homeless, Ohio Revised Code §2913.02(A)(1)(B)(5), Grand Theft of a Motor Vehicle, a felony of the fourth degree.

-SANDRA L. BALTES, 61, 133 West Indiana Street, Edgerton, Ohio 43517, Ohio Revised Code §2911.12(B), Trespass in a Habitation, a felony of the fourth degree.

-STEVEN P. WERTZ, 59, 12808 US-20, Lot 233, Pioneer, Ohio 43554, Ohio Revised Code §2919.25(A)(D)(3), Domestic Violence, a felony of the fourth degree.


-LESLIE L. YOUNG, 42, 325 North Garden Street, Bryan, Ohio 43506, Ohio Revised Code §2913.42(A)(1)(B)(4), Tampering with Records, a felony of the third degree.

-CLINTON W. BARRETT, 52, 600 South Union Street, Lot 19, Bryan, Ohio 43506, Ohio Revised Code §2925.03(A)(1)(C)(3)(b), Trafficking in Marihuana, a felony of the fourth degree, 2 Counts.

-RICHARD A. MOJICA, 56, 1939 East 2nd Street, Defiance, Ohio 43512, Ohio Revised Code §2907.31(A)(1)(F), Disseminating Matter Harmful to Juveniles, a felony of the fifth degree.


-TRENTON R. GUBBINS, 29, 15512 CR-D.50, Bryan, Ohio 43506, Ohio Revised Code §4511.19(A)(1)(d) and Ohio Revised Code §4511.19(G)(1)(a), Operating A Vehicle Under The Influence Of Alcohol Or Drug Of Abuse, a misdemeanor of the first degree, Ohio Revised Code §2923.16(D)(1)(I), Improperly Handling Firearms in a Motor Vehicle, a felony of the fourth degree.

-CHARLES N. TURNER, 25, 1700 East High Street, Apt. E1, Bryan, Ohio 43506, Ohio Revised Code §2925.11(A)(C)(1)(a), Aggravated Possession of Drugs, a felony of the fifth degree, 2 Counts.

-LOGAN C. J. VERES, 37, 627 South Cherry Street, Bryan, Ohio 43506, Ohio Revised Code §2925.11(A)(C)(1)(a), Aggravated Possession of Drugs, a felony of the fifth degree, 2 Counts.


-CHARLES L. OSBURN, III, 22, 304 South Williams Street, Bryan, Ohio 43506, Ohio Revised Code §2925.11(A)(C)(1)(a), Aggravated Possession of Drugs, a felony of the fifth degree.

-AUSTIN K. GUISE, 27, 06695 SR-15, Lot 15, Bryan, Ohio 43506, Ohio Revised Code §2925.11(A)(C)(1)(a), Aggravated Possession of Drugs, a felony of the fifth degree.

-JASON D. ZUBER, 41, 308 East Hamilton Street, Bryan, Ohio 43506, Ohio Revised Code §2925.11(A)(C)(1)(a), Aggravated Possession of Drugs, a felony of the fifth degree.

-HANK A. EZELL, 57, 210 North Main Street, Bryan, Ohio 43506, Ohio Revised Code §2925.11(A)(C)(1)(a), Aggravated Possession of Drugs, a felony of the fifth degree.

-COREY M. LEWIS, 42, 420 West Maple Street, Sherwood, Ohio 43556, Ohio Revised Code §2925.11(A)(C)(1)(b), Aggravated Possession of Drugs, a felony of the third degree.

-LEWIS F. ROHDA, III, 24, 218 South Turkeyfoot Avenue, Malinta, Ohio 43535, Ohio Revised Code §2921.36(A)(2)(G)(2), Illegal Conveyance of a Drug of Abuse onto the Grounds of a Detention Facility, a felony of the third degree.


It should be noted that an indictment is merely an accusation, and that all criminal defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
