FAYETTE, OHIO — Registration is open for the first annual 4K at 4-H Camp Palmer on Saturday, November 4, 2023.

The organization Friends of Camp Palmer is hosting the race to raise funds for enhancement projects so campers can continue to grow, learn, play, and enjoy camp for generations to come.

Participants are also welcome to enjoy refreshments and activities around camp after the race.

Cost to register for the 4K is $25, and that includes a t-shirt for those who register by October 15. Walk-up registrations will be accepted. The schedule for November 4 will go as follows:

8:00 am: Check-in begins/Walk up registrations accepted.

9:00 am: Race begins.

9:30 am: Refreshments/Awards/Activities around camp, including zip line and line dancing.

“We are thrilled to offer a 4K course showcasing the beauty of 4-H Camp Palmer’s entire property,” says Matt Rader, President of Friends of Camp Palmer. “The money raised from this race will contribute to projects to beautify camp, make activities more accessible to all, and update aging infrastructure.”
