Three North Central Athletes Sign To Play At College Level

The families of three young men gathered together in the North Central auditeria on May 23rd to honor the achievements of the graduating seniors.

These three athletes all signed on to play sports at the college level, with bright futures ahead.

Joseph Burt is the son of Kati and Ryan Burt. He plans to attend Marquette University, majoring in digital marketing. Burt played baseball, basketball, cross country, and track, as well as participated in CCP, FCA, NHS, SWAT, theater, this year’s musical, the Spanish Club, and served as class officer.


Connor Gendron is the son of Chris and Rachel Gendron. He plans to study sports and exercise science while playing baseball at Cuyahoga College. Gendron was part of the baseball, basketball, and football teams as well as participating in OARS.

Samuel Moore is the son of Lori and Darrell Moore. He plans to attend Sienna Heights, majoring in business and entrepreneurship while playing baseball. During high school he played baseball and football, and was also involved in CCP, FCA, FFA, NHS, and this year’s musical.


CUYAHOGA COLLEGE … Connor Gendron committed to play baseball at Cuyahoga College.

SIENA HEIGHTS UNIVERSITY … Sam Moore is headed to Siena Heights University where he will be a member of the baseball team.
