FUNDRAISER … Duaine and Apryl Cluckey, owners of Four of a Kind Entertainment in Montpelier, told Archbold Rotarians about the Singo game that they will be providing at Rotary’s first fundraiser of the 2024-25 Rotary year. Rotary president Jennie Gilroy (right) arranged the program, explaining that the Wednesday, October 9 fundraiser from 6 to 8 p.m. at Archbold’s Downtown Restaurant is intended to be a fun evening for Rotarians and community members.

Archbold Rotary will hold a fun fundraiser Wednesday evening, October 9 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Downtown Restaurant in Archbold. Tickets are priced at $15 each and can be purchased beforehand from any Archbold Rotarian or at the door.

Tickets will be entered in a raffle with a top prize of $1,000, second prize of $750 and third prize of $500. Each ticket stub is also good for two free Singo cards. Duaine Cluckey, an owner of Four of a Kind Entertainment from Montpelier, explained that Singo is a musical version of Bingo.

However, instead of numbers on the card, each space has the name of a song. Card holders will fill their Singo cards as they hear song snippets played by Duaine and his wife, Apryl.

However, Cluckey said Singo tends to get people involved by singing along with the songs – giving the game a whole new dimension.

Archbold Rotary president Jennie Gilroy explained that the owners of the Downtown Restaurant have agreed to donate a portion of their sales that evening during the fundraiser to Archbold Rotary.
