SWANTON – Ohio State Highway Patrol Trooper Ann M. Geer has been selected as the 2024 Trooper of the Year at the Swanton Highway Patrol Post.

The selection of Trooper Geer, 53, is in recognition of outstanding service during 2024. Fellow troopers, her supervisors, and dispatchers for the Swanton Post, chose Trooper Geer based on her leadership abilities, professional ethics, courteous treatment of others, enthusiastic work attitude, and cooperation with supervisors, peers, and the public.
