The Museum of Fulton County kicked off the holiday season with its annual Christmas at the Cabin event, held at the Fulton County Fairgrounds.

The event took place from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, December 6th, and from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 7th.

“The fourth annual Christmas at the Cabin event is a wonderful way for families to create special memories together,” shared Judy Warncke.

This festive event was free of charge, made possible by the generous support of sponsors. Families had the opportunity to explore the cabin, blacksmith shop, jailhouse, and junior fair building.

Santa and Mrs. Claus welcomed visitors in the historic Canfield Cabin. In the Reighard Blacksmith Shop, attendees could watch as the blacksmith worked at the forge.

At the jailhouse, families encountered the Grinch and Cindy Lou, while the junior fair building showcased booths filled with activities for children to enjoy.

Outside, families had the opportunity to feed animals at a petting zoo. A new feature added this year was Olaf the snowman, allowing families to have breakfast with him on Saturday morning.

There was also hot chocolate and fresh popcorn available to warm up after enjoying the outdoor activities. The fairgrounds were adorned with various lights and inflatable decorations to admire.
