An employee at the Correction Center of Northwest Ohio (CCNO) is facing drug charges after allegedly bringing drugs into the facility.

A statement from CCNO says, “Thomas Logan was a probationary Corrections Officer that was hired 3/4/24 and terminated 11/22/24. CCNO was doing an administrative investigation that identified potential criminal behavior.”

“At that time, law enforcement was notified. The investigation is still on-going and therefore that’s all the information we are able to provide.”

According to a court document filed on November 25th, 2024, Thomas Logan, during the months of July 2024 and October 2024 “Did knowingly convey onto the grounds of a detention facility or of an institution, office building, or other places that is under the control of the Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services, the Department of Developmental Disabilities, the Department of Youth Services, or the Department of Rehabilitation and Correction of a Drug Abuse,” as defined in the Ohio Revised Code, “Illegal Conveyance of Drugs of Abuse on the ground of a specified governmental facility.”
