Victor & Mary Juarez of Never Let Go Ministries of Edgerton, recently visited the newly opened facility, Legends Recovery Center in Defiance, Ohio, to share the story of Mary’s son, Marjoe Gineman, who died from a drug overdose in April of 2010.
They went on April 23; the exact day Marjoe was buried 15 years ago. Victor and Mary shared the story by PowerPoint of Marjoe’s childhood days, “The Innocent Years,” and how his first beer at the age of 14-years-old eventually led into addiction in later years. The other parts of the presentation are titled “The Dark Years,” and the “Road to Recovery.”
The staff at Legends, and all the men in recovery there, were very appreciative of them sharing their intimate story, and welcomed Victor and Mary for coming.
They were also very helpful in helping them get set up. At the end of their talk, there were door prizes given out of Never Let Go t-shirts and Serenity devotionals.
