Families from across the county flocked to the Fountain City Amphitheater on Friday for a day of interactive, anime-themed fun, hosted in partnership with the Williams County Public Library as part of the WCPL Summer Reading 2025 program.
The day began at 10:00 a.m. with a special visit from the Exotic Zoo, drawing a record-breaking crowd.
Held in collaboration with the Bryan Main Library, the free program offered children and adults alike the chance to see and interact with live exotic animals from around the world.
Featured creatures included a python, alligator, owl, kangaroo, porcupine, monkey, and giant tortoise – many of which guests could view up close in a hands-on learning environment.
In the spirit of giving back, attendees were offered to participate in a free-will donation for the Williams County Humane Society.
Items collected included pet supplies, cleaning products, blankets, and other essentials listed on the organization’s wish list.
With sunny skies, exotic encounters, and plenty of laughter, Friday’s event proved to be a summer highlight for the Bryan area. A rare opportunity for children to experience and pet creatures from around the world!
