Ken Robarge, Chaplin, spoke to the Stryker Rotary Club about the Transport for Christ ministry. Ken has 28 years experience as a truck driver, and finds he can relate to the drivers who visit the chapel located just off exit 71 of the Ohio Turnpike. Transport for Christ was started in 1951 in Canada, and has grown with service in many locations in several countries. Many Transport for Christ chapels are housed in tractor trailer rigs, and the rig Ken serves out of is open 24 hours a day, seven days each week. The rig is located at exit 71 started into service in 1997. Each Chaplin volunteers their service, and the ministry is supported through fund raisers and donations from individuals who visit the chapel. Ken normally serves each Wednesday at the chapel, but does serve on the weekend on occasion. The chapel holds regular services in addition to ministering to individuals who might visit because they have a burden to share. Ken on the left spoke as a guest of Stryker Rotary Member Bruce Rosebrock.
