Celebrate the fall season and Halloween with an Octoberfest – Beer -n- Brat Bash on Saturday evening, October 31st starting at 6:00PM. Sponsored by The Blue, Archbold and Custom Cuts Lawn Care, LLC . Entertainment by Gypsy Luvin’, Monte, Riley and Scott. The Blue is located at 301 N. Defiance Street in Archbold and will provide a great spread of food and drink for the event. Custom Cuts Lawn Care, LLC is our Entertainment Sponsor for the evening and Gypsy Luvin’ has graciously discounted their fee to benefit the Habitat mission. All proceeds will benefit Habitat for Humanity of Fulton County, Ohio. Help us bring people together to build homes, communites and hope by supporting this event.
Habitat’s mission is to provide simple, decent and affordable housing and home repairs for families in Fulton County who demonstrate a need and desire to better their environments.
Families must qualify into the program, participate in educational classes and invest numerous hours of labor into Habitat building and repair projects.
Habitat homes are not free; families are required to make monthly payments, which are used to help fund our mission. Habitat does not charge interest to homeowners, thus fulfilling the biblical philosophy that you help your neighbor without expecting anything in return. This keeps the payments typically cheaper than rent and affordable.
Habitat is not government funded. We are a 501(c)3 organization and a local United Way partner agency. Without community partnerships, donations, volunteers and fundraisers like this, Habitat for Humanity would not be able to help families reach their dreams of safe and affordable home ownership.
OctoberFest Vouchers are on sale: $25.00 each – includes entry, one flight of beer or wine (your choice which) for tasting and a buffet meal including pulled pork, chicken breasts, a variety of sides and of course, BRATS! Additional beverages & food available for purchase. Soft drinks and coffee complimentary with voucher purchase.
It’s Halloween, so yes, we will offer an OPTIONAL costume contest. Wear your best “get-up” and we’ll judge for prizes.
