Montpelier’s New Sweet Spot: Patty Cakes Bakery Grand Opening Shines

The Montpelier Area Chamber of Commerce proudly invited the community to the grand opening and ribbon-cutting ceremony for its newest member, Patty Cakes Bakery and More, on Saturday, September 27, 2025, at 10:00 a.m.


The event, held at 114 1/2 Broad Street, Montpelier, OH 43543, marks an exciting milestone for local entrepreneur Taryn as she opened her bakery to the public.

The celebration ran from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., offering guests a chance to enjoy brunch, lunch, and a variety of delectable, sweet treats.

Adding to the festivities, every customer who visited during the event received a raffle ticket for a chance to win a free cake. “I can’t wait to finally open my doors and celebrate with you all!”

Taryn shared enthusiastically before the event. “It’s a dream come true to bring my passion for baking to Montpelier, and I’m so excited to share this special day with the community.”


Kelly L. Herzog, Executive Director of the Montpelier Area Chamber of Commerce, encouraged residents to check out Montpelier’s newest business.

“This was a wonderful opportunity to welcome Patty Cakes Bakery and More to our community and support Taryn’s entrepreneurial journey,” Herzog said.

Taryn’s excitement is palpable as she prepares to welcome guests. “Stop in for some sweet treats!” she said.

Patty Cakes Bakery and More is set to become a beloved addition to Montpelier, offering a delightful mix of flavors and a warm, welcoming atmosphere.
