GIRLS BASKETBALL: Edgerton Pulls Away Early, Cruises To 52-37 Road Win

Edgerton 52, Pettisville 37

PETTISVILLE – Edgerton claimed its second victory in as many nights as they defeated Pettisville, 52-37, in non-conference action.

The Bulldogs (2-0) jumped out to an 11-4 first quarter lead and pushed it to 29-14 at halftime.

Alivia Farnham poured in 21 points to lead Edgerton in a balanced scoring attack. Elle Huard contributed 11 points, and Ava Swank added ten points.

Edgerton was 20 of 42 for 47.6% from the field and 7 of 11 from the stripe. They outrebounded Pettisville, 25-16, and committed fewer turnovers, 21-13.

Becca Strauss tallied 11 points for the Blackbirds (0-2) and Madison Miller contributed 10 points.
