AUDITOR AWARD … Fulton County received a Clean Audit Award on Tuesday, December 23, 2025, from the Ohio Auditor of State Office in recognition of a clean audit. According to the state office website, the designation means the county’s audit report contained no findings for recovery, material weaknesses, significant deficiencies, questioned costs, or material citations. During the presentation, Scott Sands of the State Auditor’s Office noted that roughly 6,000 entities are audited and only a small percentage earn the award. He then offered his congratulations to Fulton County for receiving the recognition.
