Construction con-tinues to move forward on the Williams County North Annex Building renovation, with multiple structural components now underway.
Several construction company representatives were in attendance at a progress meeting held Thursday, February 26, including Siebenaler Construction, ZachTech, CV Electric, the Hagerman Group, Masters Woodworking, Frost Roofing, and Stark’s PHS.
Williams County Commissioner Scott Lirot, IT Manager Jeremy Suffel, and Williams County Engineer Project Manager Ron Buda were also present.
Work on the steel structure for the mezzanine is in progress, with half of the framework already in place.
Crews also began work on the elevator shaft Thursday, February 26. Elevator inserts have been delivered on-site and stainless steel panels will be used as part of the installation. Officials anticipate that within two weeks, noticeable progress will be made on both projects.
Scaffolding has been erected and crews are ready to begin that phase of work. The task is estimated to take ten to fourteen days to complete, though the timeline remains dependent on the weather.
Roofing efforts have caught up to schedule after earlier delays, and electrical work related to lighting controls and wiring for the elevator is scheduled to begin next week. As of now, no drywall work has been completed.
The outside overhead door is scheduled to be removed Monday, March 2. However, an additional overhead door and double door on the west side of the building will remain in place for now.
Construction on the second-floor deck is expected to resume the following day.
The next North Annex Progress meeting is scheduled to take place March 12, 2026, at 1:00 p.m.
