BRYAN (July 31, 2026) – It was a close finish as Archbold narrowly edged out Montpelier by one shot to capture the Lady Loco Golf Invitational held on Friday, July 31 at Suburban Golf Club in Bryan.
The Streaks claimed the title with a score of 373 while Montpelier finished as runner-up with a 374.
Wauseon was third (381), followed by Fremont St. Joseph (391), Delta (394), Patrick Henry (413), Ayersville (425), Swanton (442), Wauseon 2 (506) and Hilltop (514) rounding out the team standings.
Other schools who participated but didn’t field full squads were North Central, Stryker, Edgerton, Evergreen, Hicksville and Fairview.
Ryan Dickman of Fremont St. Joseph captured medalist honors with a one-under par score of 71. Brie Grime led Archbold with an 81, followed by Ella Yoder (87), Kali Lantz (101), and Makenna Bickel (104).
Brynn Richmond topped Montpelier with an 88, followed by Neriah Thorp (91), Myleigh Dye (95), Hannah Martin (100).
Hayden Konieczka led Wauseon with an 85, followed by Alexis Perez (93), Kali Spangler (95), and Julia Lugabihl (108).
Delta was led by Mackenzie Grahn with an 81, followed by Aubree Perdew (87), Ava Gilders (113), Sophie Ford (113), and Aleiya Moore (119).
Audrey McFarland led Swanton with a 106, followed by Gabbie Orner (107), Raegan Rominski (110), and Audrey Carte (119).
Sophia Medina led Wauseon 2 with a 110, followed by Brighton Binkley (113), Olivia Puehler (132), and Milly Eitniear (151).
Aleigha Sieradzki led Hilltop with a 104, followed by Zia Siegel (114), Savannah Thompson (145), and Leah Ankney (151).
Addyson Gleckler led Evergreen with a 98, followed by Jaylin Prayter (103), and Violet Gleckler (107).
Individually, Brenna Creighton of Stryker and Sophie Eustace of North Central both shot 93s and Aaliyah Spangler of Edgerton tallied a 122 score.
