Three Arts Club WEBFor their monthly meeting the Three Arts club met on November 9 at the home of Ann Hollingshead. Fourteen members were in attendance.

The guest speaker was Laura Dulle from the Upper Cut in Bryan. She specializes in manicures and pedicures and has paraffin dips available. She gave a pedicure demonstration with the help of club member Terri Westfall. In her demonstration she used a foot bath, scented gels, scrubs, and lotion. It was very interesting and enjoyable.

The meeting was then called to order. The secretary and treasurer’s reports were approved as read. A thank you was received from Shay Pursel thanking the club for their cards, thoughts, and prayers during the death of her grandfather. Another thank you was read from Shirley Taylor for the cards, visits, and food during her recovery from surgery. A letter was read from the Hilltop Post Prom committee asking for a donation. It was voted and approved to give them a contribution.

The Christmas party will be held December 14 at the Presbyterian Church. Secret Pals will be revealed. Each member is to bring canned meat for the Outreach Hands pantry, and a bag of wrapped candy to make favors for the West Unity Senior Center’s Christmas Party.

The meeting was then adjourned.
