Mystery author Ann Charles will be making a visit to the Bryan Main Library on Monday,  January 4th from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Ann will be having an informational talk and book signing. Her books will also be available to purchase.

Ann Charles is a USA Today Best-Selling author who writes spicy award-winning mysteries full of mayhem, adventure, comedy, and whatever else sounds fun. Several books in her Deadwood Mystery series have won multiple national awards, including the Daphne du Maurier for Excellence in Mystery/Suspense Award.

Currently, she has several fiction books available: NEARLY DEPARTED IN DEADWOOD (multiple award-winning book for both mystery and romance/mystery), OPTICAL DELUSIONS IN DEADWOOD, DEAD CASE IN DEADWOOD (selected as one of Suspense Magazine’s BEST OF 2012 books), BETTER OFF DEAD IN DEADWOOD, AN EX TO GRIND IN DEADWOOD, and MEANWHILE, BACK IN DEADWOOD, which are all part of her ongoing Deadwood Mystery Series.

Also available from Ann are the first three books in her Jackrabbit Junction Mystery Series: DANCE OF THE WINNEBAGOS, JACKRABBIT JUNCTION JITTERS, and THE GREAT JACKALOPE STAMPEDE.

LOOK WHAT THE WIND BLEW IN, the first book in her new Dig Site Mystery series, is now available, too. This book stars Quint Parker, brother of Violet Parker—heroine of her Deadwood Mystery series. It’s filled with mystery, humor, adventure, and a splash of romance.

She has a few short stories as well–DEADWOOD SHORTS: SEEING TROUBLE and BOOT POINTS (short stories from her Deadwood Mystery Series) and THE OLD MAN’S BACK IN TOWN (a short story from her upcoming Goldwash Mystery Series).

Stay tuned for new books by Ann coming in 2016:
* THE ROWDY COYOTE RUMBLE (Jackrabbit Junction Mystery Series #4)—January 2016

* COLD FLAME (short story #3 in the Deadwood Shorts collection that goes with the Deadwood Mystery Series)—February 2016

* Title TBA (Deadwood Mystery Series #7)—summer 2016

* WILD TURKEY TANGO (short story that goes with the Jackrabbit Junction Mystery Series)—early fall 2016

* Title TBA (Dig Site Mystery Series #2)—end of 2016

Born and raised in Northwest Ohio, Ann currently lives in the beautiful mountains of Northern Arizona. A member of Sisters in Crime and Romance Writers of America for many moons, Ann has a B.A. in English with emphasis on creative writing from the University of Washington. Recently, she was awarded a Distinguished Alumni award for 2015 from Northwest State Community College (NW Ohio) where she received an Associate’s Degree years ago.

When she is not dabbling with her quirky characters in fiction, she is arm wrestling with her two kids, attempting to seduce her husband, and arguing with her sassy cats. Most days, you can find her hanging out over at www.anncharles.com, on Facebook as Ann Charles, or as AnnWCharles on Twitter—especially late at night when her fictional world comes to life.

You don’t want to miss the opportunity to hear Ann Charles in person! The book signing and author presentation will be held in the Carnegie Room of the Main Library. Snacks and refreshments will be provided.

The Bryan Main Library is located at 107 East High Street. For more information, contact Kylee Matthews at 419-636-6734 ext. 274.
