A Light Agenda For Wauseon Board Of Education Noon Board Meeting

The Wauseon Board of Education addressed a light agenda for their March 31 regular noon board meeting. Items approved during the meeting included the following donations:

•$944 from Tomahawk Wrestling Club to the WHS Athletic Department for State hotel accommodations.
•$1350 from Wauseon Athletic Boosters to the WHS Athletic Department for the Wrestling State Placer Record Board
•Nurse volunteer hours to screen kindergarten students from Laura Parker (10 hours), Laura Rodriguez (6 hours), and Robin Smith (4 hours).
•Popcorn, oil, salt, and bas, valued at $99.99, from The Supply Place at Wauseon Ace to the Wauseon Elementary.
•$835.93 from Parents Supporting Schools the WES Student Activity for end of semester awards.
•$859.30 from Parents Supporting Schools to the WPS Student Activity.

Also approved during the meeting were the modifications and supplemental modifications to the FY16 Permanent Appropriations and the 2016-17 school calendar as presented.

The board entered into executive session for the discussion of the employment of personnel. No action was taken.

The next Wauseon Board of Education meeting will be held on Monday, April 11 at 5:30 PM at the board office.
