Fulton Commissioners To Let Deputy Keep Service Weapon

Fulton County Commissioners approved a request by Sheriff Roy Miller to present a retiring deputy with his service weapon.

The deputy has served for 25 years. The weapon has to declared outdated in order to allow the deputy to keep it.

Commissioner Paul Barnaby said the approval was for this particular case only.


The county will receive sealed bids for seal coat work for 2016 until 9:30 a.m., Tuesday, May 17 at the commissioners chambers on the second floor at 152 S. Fulton St., Wauseon.

The engineer’s estimate is $786,389.

The commissioners approved a contract with Rock Solid Landscape to mow several county-owned sites for a total of $650 per instance.


Unemployment figures for March, show Fulton County at 5.6 percent. The figures have not been seasonally adjusted.

Neighboring counties show Williams at 5.1 percent, Defiance at 5.6, Lucas 5.7 and Henry at 7.0.
