For the week of May 2-7, kids can celebrate Children’s Book Week at the library by getting a free book! Any child in grades 5 and under can pick out a free book to take home from the cart.

Come to the Swanton Public Library from 4:00 pm to 5:30 pm on Wednesday, May 11, for an afternoon all about anime and otakudom! Join us to eat snacks (Japanese and otherwise), watch three episodes of an anime (or two or three) chosen by the attendees, and play Japanese dance videos and other geeky videos if requested. Participants are welcome to come in cosplay. No registration required. FREE!

Children in grades K-5 are invited to come celebrate summer and sunshine at the library! We’ll have summer stories, a sunny craft, and weather permitting, water games outside. Don’t wear anything too nice!

For more information on any of these events, contact the library by calling 419-826-2760 or visiting our website at http://www.swantonpubliclibrary.org. Swanton Library is located at 305 Chestnut Street in Swanton.
