Montpelier Chamber Of Commerce Adds New Members & Reminds Of Upcoming Circus

A police report was filed on three juveniles who damaged the chamber building.

The board approved ordering a new door to prevent such vandalism again.

The chamber’s golf outing was described as a huge success. Organizers are waiting on further donations before a full report can be given.

Karrie Patten was added as new member of the board. Dan Bobilya resigned his position on the board, saying his business took too much of his time.

The chamber added Powers and Sons, Tarry Eicher Subs and Patten Insurance as new members.

The chamber is reminding everyone about the circus it is sponsoring. There will two shows at 5 and 7:30 p.m. June 16.

The Circus Committee will include Kevin Motter, Jason Luke, Karrie Patten, Chris Allman and Susan Gearhart. Dave Tilly has offered to be the guest ringmaster. Tickets are available at all local banks, the library, and The Hair Station and the Chamber office.


Scholarships were awarded to Maddie Richmond and Erin Tilly.

The opening ceremony to be put on 4-6 p.m. June 10 by Montpelier Parks and Rec Friday. The Olympics will be the theme for summer activities for children.

The chamber board will meet at 8 a.m. June 10.
