Angola, Ind. – Cameron Hospital’s first baby of the year arrived right on time—on his due date of January 1, 2017. Parents Andrew and Danielle Beer welcomed their third baby, Jedidiah Leroy Beer on January 1, 2017 at 7:54 p.m. Jedidiah weighed 8 lb. 14 oz. and was 21 in. long. Both mother and baby are doing well. “We are just glad that he’s here,” said mom, Danielle Beer about what makes having a New Year’s baby special. Baby Jedidiah was delivered by Dr. William Smith.

Cameron staff presented the baby with a variety of gifts to help them with baby Jedidiah. Retailers who donated gifts for the new baby included the Cameron Gift Shop, WalMart Super Center, Lakeland Nursing Center, Angola Chamber of Commerce, Steuben County WIC Program Out of the Woods Florist and the Cameron OB Department.

Jedidiah joins older brother Holden (age 9) and big sister Annabell (age 2). “His sister is especially excited,” said Danielle. “She doesn’t know what she’s in for.” Jedidiah’s grandparents are Keith and Pamela Miller of Hudson and Robert and Dawn Beer of Pleasant Lake.
