Fayette School Board Moves Money For Vo-Ag & Sports Complex Project

The Fayette Board of Education approved several transfers of funds for its upcoming building project.

The board approved the following transfers for construction of the Vo-Ag and Sports Complex.

$169,833.59 from Climo Fund to Building Fund
$647,911.36 from General Fund to Building Fund
$100,000 from Maintenance Fund to Building Fund
Approved the following appropriation changes:
Bond Retirement Fund 002 – decrease $100,000
Building Fund 004 – increase $600,000
Special Trust Fund 007 – increase $2,000

The board approved several staffing recomendations:
Approve a 1-year supplemental contract for Anne Merillat for Cross Country volunteer for 2017-2018 pending background and reference checks.


Approve a 1-year supplemental contract for Hillary Opdycke as Varsity Volleyball Coach for 2017-2018 pending proper licenses, background and reference checks.

Approved a 1-year supplemental contract for Jacy Wagner as JV Volleyball Coach for 2017-2018 pending proper licenses, background and reference checks.

Approved Allen Grant Jr. as a substitute bus driver for 2017-2018, pending proper licenses, background and reference checks.


Rescinded motion 16-113 to issue a 1-year supplemental contract to Barbara Figgins as Varsity Track Coach for 2016-2017.

Approved a FMLA leave for Ivy Kunkle for medical reasons beginning March 16 through April 14.
