PETTISVILLE – The wind was blowing out to right center field on April 6, causing the ball to do impressive things…like land in the parking lot beyond the fences, and wreck pitchers ERAs. Delta was in town for a double dip against Pettisville, both of which became slugfests. The Panthers took the opener by a 16-6 count, while the Blackbirds won the second tilt by a 17-13 score.

Game #1

Alex Roth took the loss for Pettisville, going 3 innings and surrendering 6 runs, 4 earned on 5 hits and 5 walk, striking out one. Tanner Rufenacht was hit for 10 runs on 9 hits and 4 walks, fanning a pair, and Dustin Nofziger retired the only batter he faced.
