Game Summaries: Jr. High Track – Thur., April 13th, 2017

The Montpelier Junior High girls and boys’ teams competed in the Patrick Junior High Invitational. The girls finished 10th out of 13 teams. Earning medalist honors was Rachel McIntosh in the high jump (2nd place – new PR). Placing and earning ribbons were Tristen Bexten in the 400M (4th place – new PR), Ali Repp in the discus (4th place – new PR), Shailynn Bohner in the 100M (6th place), the 4X100 team of Alvira, McCord, Hillard, and Bohner (6th place), and the 4X200 relay team of Bohner, McCord, Richmire, and Bexten (6th place – new PR). The boys finished 5th out of 13 teams. Earning medalist honors were the 4X200 relay team of Varney, Flint, Viers, and Jay (1st place! – new PR), the 4X100 relay team of Varney, Cieslak, Flint, and Viers (2nd place – new PR), Ethan Varney in the 200M (3rd place – new PR), Thomas Jay in the 400M (3rdplace – new PR), and the 4X400 relay team of Eitniear, Lashaway, Fry, and Jay (3rd place – new PR). Placing and earning a ribbon was Jeren Viers in the high jump (5th place).
