The Indians were blanked by a tough Sylvania Southview squad. In first singles Tristan Uribes was defeated by Podolsky 1-6, 0-6. Conner Hicks fell in second singles 1-6, 2-6 and James Allan was defeated in third singles 0-6, 0-6. In doubles play Aaron Spieles and Evan Kost went three sets but fell 3-6, 6-1, 3-6. Second doubles saw Brady Blaylock and Chase Soltis coming up short 2-6, 0-6.

The Golden Bears won the shortened match to claim their first win of the season. Keegan McCashen was a 6-4, 6-0 winner in first singles, Will Jackson smashed his way to a 6-2, 6-0 win in second singles and Isaac Bowers’ third singles match was not finished due to thunderstorms. The first doubles match was also interrupted by the storm. Logan King and Colt Arthur had split the first two sets winning 6-2 and trailing 2-3 when the match was called. The second double match did get completed as Kollin Klinger and Griffin Thompson were 6-1, 6-2 winners.
