PETTISVILLE:  May 09- The Pettisville Lady Blackbirds played host to  the  Archbold Lady Blue Streaks on May 9, falling to the NWOAL Champs 10 behind 3 hit pitching a solid defense.  Visiting Archbold came in with a 23-1 mark on the year and showed why they are a top ranked team.

Teagan Kauffman took the setback on the mound, giving up 12 hits in the game and walking 3 batters.

Offensively for the host Lady Blackbirds, it was a tough slog at the plate, with just two Lady Blackbirds recording hits on the day.  Kaija Blosser connected for 2 singles while Stephanie Hubby record a single base shot in the defeat.

With the loss, the Lady Blackbirds dropped to 10-8 on the year and have concluded their BBC campaign with a 8-2 mark.
