ARCHBOLD VILLAGE COUNCIL: Resolution Approved Accepting Resurfacing Bid From Gerken Paving

Archbold Village Council met on Monday, March 20, 2023, with a light agenda.

After declaring an emergency, Council approved Resolution 2023-15 Accepting the Bid from Gerken Paving for Contract 1-2023 Miscellaneous Street Resurfacing Project.

Gerken Paving was the sole bidder in the amount of $382,770.00 and estimates that the project will take 90 days to complete.

Contract 1-2023 project involves the asphalt street resurfacing of Walnut Street, South Lincoln Street from West Barre Road to Union Street, Meadow Road from Murbach Street to East Holland Street, Willow Way from South Defiance Street to Pin Oak Place, and Linden Lane.

During the meeting, council also approved:

-Ordinance 2023-16 Adopting Stormwater Regulations Making Them Part of Archbold’s Code of Ordinances after declaring an emergency.


-Council Minutes of March 6, 2023.

-Approve Bills & Payroll in the amount of $362,606.20.

Council also reviewed meeting minutes from the March 9 Zoning Board of Appeals meeting and the March 13 Planning Commission meeting.

The next Archbold Village Council meeting will be held on Monday, April 3, 2023, at 5:30 p.m.
