AYERSVILLE – The Ayersville Lady Pilots parlayed Pettisville errors into three runs in the home half of the first inning, more than enough to send the Ladybirds home on the short end of a 3-1 decision on April 4.

Delaney Nofziger went the route for 0-2 Pettisville, allowing 3 runs on just three hits, walking 4 and fanning 6. Her case was hindered by six errors in the field behind her.

Stephanie Hubby clocked a pair of singles, while Nofziger, Amber Klopfenstein and Taylor D’Alelio each had a base hit.
