Blakeslee Knights Of Columbus Crown 2013 Local Free Throw Champions

2013 BLAKESLEE KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS FREE THROW WINNERS … Area youth brought their best game to compete at the annual Blakeslee Knights of Columbus Free Throw Contest held Sunday, January 20 at the Edon High School Gymnasium.  Twenty-four boys and girls, ages ten through fourteen, were allowed three practice shots before attempting fifteen consecutive free throws in the contests.  Receiving the highest score in each category and named 2013 Local Champions were, from left, Casey Bonar (Boys Age 10), Claire Radabaugh (Girls Age 10), Kelby Sapp (Boys Age 11), Bree Hug (Girls Age 11), Eli Branham (Boys Age 12), Naomi Hickman (Girls Age 12), Logan Bloir (Boys Age 13) and Drew Hug (Boys Age 14).  Each winner now advances to the District Free Throw Competition slated for Sunday, February 10, 2013 at Edgerton High School Gymnasium beginning at 1:00 p.m.
