BRYAN – Pettisville and Lincolnview were both tied with identical 318 scores after 18 holes of play in the Edgerton Golf Invitational held Thursday, Aug. 6, at Suburban Golf Club in Bryan.
The Blackbirds eventually prevailed in winning the tournament title thanks to a fifth-man tiebreaker, and the Lancers finished as runner-up.
Ayersville finished third with a score of 344, followed by Hicksville (359), Edgerton (365), Emmanuel Christian (384), Hilltop (396), North Central (405), Fayette (410), Stryker (413), Delphos Jefferson (420), and Defiance (498).
Mason Elden of Edgerton captured individual medalist honors with a 75.
Dawson Knierim led Pettisville with a 78, followed by Sam Hastings (79), Dalton Zimmerman (80), Kobe Hoylman (81) and Jamison Beck (81).
Edgerton’s other scores were Cole Gary (92), Jon Cronin (99) and Ian Cronin (99).
Kahle Thompson led Hilltop with an 81, followed by Brennan Dempsey (97), Carson Patton (107), Zia Siegel (111) and Bryce Peters (133).
Talen Reinbolt led North Central with a 92, followed by Jaziel Dominguez (99), Masen Boles (102), Aiden Bly (112) and Jaxsyn Faunce (151).
Fayette was led by Kruez Lichtenwald with a 95, followed by Joseph Ohlemacher (96), Kasen Saunders (99) and Hayden Wagner (120).
Chandler Lloyd tallied a score of 90 to lead Stryker, followed by Brenna Creighton (99), Abram Batterson (106) and Abel Batterson (118).
