(May 7th, 2015) – STRYKER: A new entry into the Edon history books was made during the junior high Buckeye Border Conference track meet in Stryker on Thursday, May 7.
Bomber Eighth Grader Wendy Braun claimed first place in the one mile run of the event. She did much more than that, however. With a time of 5:55.2, she set a new school record with her performance. Besting the old mark of 6:02 by a sound 7 seconds, the soon to be high schooler has already left her stamp on Edon lore.
Next year, Braun will add quality depth to an already outstanding core of distance runners for the Edon varsity track team.
