The NWOAL had two representatives when the All-State softball teams were released as Bryan freshman Thea Staten was named first team in Division II and Evergreen junior Macy Chamberlin was selected first team in Division III.
Staten went 23-2 in circle for the Golden Bears this season with a 0.68 ERA as she helped Bryan to an NWOAL title along with a sectional and district championship. At the plate, Staten batted .437 with four home runs and 33 RBIs.

Along with her 1st team All-NWOAL, All-State, and All-District awards Staten broke or tied school records for doubles in a season, home runs in a season (tied), total bases in a season, RBIs in a season (tied), most wins in a season, lowest ERA in a season, and strikeouts in a season (295).
For Chamberlin, before the all-state recognition, the 2023 season culminated in her second straight NWOAL Player of the Year award.
The Penn State commit batted .731 on the season with 21 home runs, 44 RBIs, seven doubles, 38 hits, and scored 31 runs for Evergreen in 52 at bats (75 plate appearances) for the Vikings.
