Byron Walter Clark, 95, of Montpelier, passed away on December 24, 2020 at Hillside Country Living in Bryan. He was born on June 24, 1925 in Montpelier to Boyd and Myrtle Amelia (Friedel) Clark, Sr.
Byron graduated from Montpelier High School. He honorably served his country in the United States Army during WWII as a flight engineer with the 380th Bomb Group 529 Squadron. On June 8, 1946 he married Norma D. Whitney and she preceded him in death on June 8, 2009.
Byron retired from Winzeler Stamping Company in Montpelier after 41 years. He loved to restore old Mustangs and enjoyed woodworking.
He is survived by his children, Deanna Thomas, Alan (Lois) Clark, Daniel (Jody) Clark, Janice Clark, Julia (Brian) Nofziger and Lisa Keough; nine grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; siblings, Marjorie (Carl) Bowers, Ronald Clark and Harold (Betty) Clark; sister-in-law, Marva Whitney; and brother-in-law, Larry Yagelski.
Byron was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Norma D. Clark; son-in-law, Scott Keough; sister, Phyllis Clark; and three brothers, Raymond, Boyd Jr., and Richard Clark.
Services for Byron will be private. He will be laid to rest at Riverside Cemetery in Montpelier. Donations may be made in his memory to Hillside Country Living.
