There’s a “Nightmare on High Street” and the Bryan Library is daring you to face your greatest fears by taking part in this year’s Haunted Library event, held on Saturdays, October 24th and 31st, from 8:00 pm to 12:00 am. Climb up the steps of the Main Library and await your fate in the mysterious Carnegie Hall. You will then head over to the West Annex building, where you will enter your worst nightmare. Make your way through the dark, but look out for ghouls, zombies, bizarre beasts, and so much more.

Filled with scream inducing twists and turns, the Haunted Library promises to be terrifyingly unforgettable.

Tickets will be sold for $1.00 to WCPL library card holders, and $3.00 for non-library card holders. Children in 6th grade and under will be let in for free. You can purchase tickets in advance at the Bryan Main Library Adult Desk. New library cards will not be issued the evenings of the event. Snacks and refreshments will be available for participants of the Haunted Library. Parental caution is advised when bringing children age 10 and under to the event.

A kid-friendly Halloween party will be held in the Bryan Library Children’s Department on Saturday, October 24th from 8:00 to 9:00 pm. This program will be free to the public. Children are invited to come dressed in costume and take part in fun games and crafts.

The Bryan Main Library is located at 107 E. High Street. For more information, contact the library at 419-636-6734 ext. 221.
