EDGERTON – No. 7 seed Edon led 5-0 after two innings before No. 4 Edgerton stormed back with the help of a grand slam from Olivia Wallace as they scored the game’s last 12 runs for the win and sectional championship.
Wallace, Alivia Farnham, and Nessa Cox all went 3-4 at the dish as the Bulldogs pounded out 13 hits on the night.
Alexis Breier and Adison Briner each had two singles for the Bombers and Natalie Wofford added a triple.
Edgerton will face No. 2 Hilltop in the district semifinals on Monday, May 13 at 7:00pm in Bryan.
