The Delta Chamber of Commerce hosted their sixth annual golf outing fundraiser at the White Pines Golf Course in Swanton.
The event was held on Thursday, June 9th with golf starting at 11:00 a.m. Local businesses from around the area paid $260 for a four-person team with a portion of the proceeds going to benefit a local Fulton County Charity.
This year, the charity that was selected was the Habitat for Humanity. Teams went around and played on the courses at White Pines.
In addition to each of the courses, contests were also on site including a hole in one contest, longest drive contest, closest to the pin contest and a 50/50 raffle.
All together, twenty teams signed up to compete in the outing. Chamber of Commerce Administrative Assistant Amanda Nowak explained that it is exciting to be able to hold this event again.
“We are very glad to be back after covid shut us down in 2020. We are all excited to be able to offer a great networking opportunity as well as exercise for a great charity.”
“We would like to thank everyone that came today as well as our main event sponsors.”
