Delta Panthers Pounce On Hilltop & Fayette In Golf Action

Demor Hills Golf Course served as the battle ground for three strong golf teams early into their respective seasons.  The tri-match, held on August 18, pitted the Cadets of Hilltop, the Eagles of Fayette, and the Panthers of Delta against each other in golf bedlam.

Delta came out on top of the competition with a score of 186, while Fayette took second place at 199, and Hilltop finished just behind them with a 205.  Grant Yoder received medalist honors for the Panthers, shooting a 43.  Michael Thomas and Jay Vann each offered a 46 in support of the Delta victory.

For Fayette, Tharyn Colegrove led the way with a 45.  Jaryd White contributed a 47 to the Eagle’s valiant effort, and Michael Brubaker shot a 52 to round out Fayette’s top three.  Travis Wagner, Justin White, and Joel Smith shot a 55, 59, and 60 respectively for the team as well.

The Cadets saw both Isaac VanArsdalen and Colin Sabins each fire a 49 in their hard fought loss.  Josiah Law legislated a 52 to the score card, while Trevor Shipman floated a 55.  Levi Grant and Zach Roehrs each shot a 58.
