After a couple strikeouts by Montpelier starter Bianca Phongphiou, Ella Miler reached on an infield single that led to a Loco error which allowed Cape to score and make it 3-0.

After a Hopper strikeout, Ava Swank delivered with a two-out RBI single to center and Miler drove in a run with a single right field to make it 8-0.
