(October 6th, 2014)-EDON: With the Locomotives making a stop in town, the Bombers of Edon were well prepared for the North West Ohio Athletic Conference opponent.
Montpelier got off to a fast start, earning a decisive 25-16 victory over the hometown Bombers. Edon would rally, however, taking game 2 25-20. Game 3 saw the two teams wrestle for control of the match,with the Lady Bombers just pulling offf a 25-23 win. The Lady Locos, with their backs against the wall, fought hard in game 4, but fell behind late in the set. Edon took the game and the match 25-18.
Hannah Blake had a great game in the loss, recording 24 digs, 18 kills, and 16 assists. Sidney Houk made 26 digs, 13 digs, and 13 kills for the Locos as well. With 25 assists and 15 digs, Landri McKelvey was the workhorse for Montpelier.
