(October 6th, 2014)-STRYKER: It can be tough taking on a non-conference opponent in the midst of a conference schedule, particularly so late into the season. This is the challenge undertaken by the Lady Panthers of Stryker as they hosted Evergreen. The North West Ohio Athletic Association foe proved to be too much for them, however.
A slow start put Stryker behind early in the match, as they lost the first set 6-25. Game 2 also belonged to the Lady Vikings, who claimed the set 25-12. In a late comeback effort, the Stryker girls put together their best set of the match, but still lost the game 19-25, giving the Lady Vikings the match.
Allie Frisbie was the catalyst of the Panther offensive, handing out 10 assists while also making an ace. Audra Rupp had 3 kills, a block, and an ace for Stryker. Teammate Sierra Walters put up 2 kills and an ace in the loss as well.
