(September 25th, 2014)-PIONEER: Both the Seventh and Eighth Grade incarnations of Edon and North Central met in Pioneer in BBC junior high volleyball action. The Lady Bombers were able to win both games, despite playing on the road.
The Seventh Grade game began with both sides tussling back and forth. Edon was able to pull away late, though, taking the set 25-19. Deflated, North Central struggled to mount an offense in game 2, losing 10-25, and giving Edon the victory.
For the Eighth Graders, the match was significantly more contested. North Central battled hard in game 1, coming up just short 23-25. Not deterred by the close loss, the Lady Eagles came back in the second set, winning 25-22. The third and decisive game was an extremely tight one. Edon just managed to come out on top 26-24, winning the match.
