(November 29, 2014) – DELTA: The Edon Junior Varsity girls had a tough night in Delta.
Taking on the hometown Panthers, the Lady Bombers weren’t able to keep pace with the frenetic scoring pace of their North Western Ohio Athletic League foe. Between the strength of the Delta girls and home court advantage, the uphill battle was too steep for the girls from Edon to climb.
Delta took the game 38-14, providing Edon with its second tough loss in as many days. Once again, freshman Shayla Mason led the Bombers in scoring, putting up 7 points in the loss.
It will take time for the young Edon girls to improve, and Delta proved to be too big a test too soon.
