(January 27th, 2015) – EDON: In an impromptu bout, the junior varsity boys of Edon took on their counterparts from Hamilton on Tuesday, January 27. Normally playing both boys and girls varsity games on the same night, as is customary in Indiana, the Marines brought their own junior varsity boys squad as well. So fans who walked into the Edon High School gym expecting to see two games were treated to a third as well.
Not only that, but they witnessed an Edon victory as well, 32-21.
The Bomber boys pulled away in the second half to earn the win. This was due mainly to the efforts of Travis Siebenaler. The Edon freshman totaled 17 points, over half of his team’s final score. Another freshman, Cameron Reed, put up 8 points for the Bombers as well.
